Medium Speed Generating Sets are the ideal diesel solution for prime, peaking and Black Start applications. In the particular case of black start applications, the purpose of the BSDG system is to provide auxiliary power to enable the start up of the power plant main generating units (Turbines) and to restore the power station to operation without relying on auxiliary power from the grid.
